In order to prepare the scissor lift for charging, park the machinery near an electrical outlet. Make sure you are doing this in a well-ventilated place. Next, in order to prevent another operator from driving away with the lift plugged in, press the emergency shut-off switch. The emergency shut off switch is the big red button situated near the control box or the charger, inside the lift basket. Find the battery charger on the right side of the base of the lift. Normally, older models will have the charger mounted on the rear of the lift.
